In looking for a colorful scapular to buy, I couldn't find any, so I decided to make my own. I wear as a commitment to the bright side of Universe. Mother Mary and St. Benedict also have a way of making me feel protected.
 
Have you ever seen a scapular up close? I have and now understand why there are no two alike. Small as they are, a lot of work goes into making them. This being my first batch (with introductory price), I learned a LOT. Are they flawless? Hardly! Aside from my sewing machine and heat press, all were handmade by me with Mother Mary as my guide. Worn in faith can help keep us on the right track and in devotion with what and who matter. I not only wear one, I have one hanging on my headboard. I also like including one in a gift and/or giving to anyone I know is hurting. Something about having the Queen of Heaven and St. Benedict near me keeps me feeling protected.
 
You are welcome to have it blessed, tho not necessary. Each side is 2" in length and just under 1.5" width. Length of brown paracord is the standard 17" scapular length. Made with 100% cotton, wool and interfacing.
