Riches Do Not Make One Rich In Spirit

Hollow Earth or Shallow People? Both.

I long for the day when the shallowness that plague much of humanity is filled with authenticity. The day when people are not judged by what they wear, say or do. The day when a paycheck is not seen as, greater is he. The day when worshipping the dead over the living is no longer considered a grand gesture of righteousness. And finally, the day when riches do not make one rich in spirit. Being rich in wallet doesn't mean $#!T if you don't have a soul to match it.

Honor the living

It is hurtful to God and mind boggling to me what many believe to be righteous, when God could see right thru everyone. He knows our every thought without speaking it. To not value someone until they die is quite sinful. The only one you fool is yourself. Those who die are the lucky ones, however, one should not die to be honored.

So many adorn themselves to be somebody they're not, yet wallow in misery. Social media has a way of showing one side, but offline is an entirely different story. The truth. How utterly exhausting, not to mention a waste of life and the soul's purpose. God is not easily fooled.

Only cleanliness is next to Godliness. Do you really think God thinks more highly of someone trying to fit perfectly into each cookie cutter fad? Or that you hang out with the "in" crowd? He could care less. It's what's inside that counts. Not how much you make or what you wear. While cleanliness is next to godliness, there's a reason God often speaks to the homeless. For many, their soul has been torn wide open. Ready for deliverance. Does he care what they wear? Hardly!

There are many paths to God, and riches is not one of them. A broken soul and even dis-ease may very well be a shortcut to God, problem is, too many remain in their comfort zone working on their shell rather than their soul. A terribly sad mistake it is to run and/or put a band-aid on pain. All you're doing is postponing true happiness, love for yourself, and your soul's purpose.

If everyone loved themself the world would be a much better place.

Who knew the down trodden had a leg up on the rich? I did, only I chose to go without a home. Wasn't easy but it was the best gift I gave myself. May all wake to their full potential by caressing their soul instead of dressing as their goal.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”

Blessed are all, but nowhere does it say the rich shall inherit the earth. Life is a dress rehearsal for the afterlife. Want to see God? Be pure in heart. Want to inherit the earth? Then practice being meek.

May all be blessed to know the true meaning of riches because going thru life pretending only extends your wait time.
